For over two decades, Class Clowns has helped hundreds of funny, young peeps hone their comedy potential. This one-of-a-kind secondary school comedy competition is coming to the Sydney CBD with a heat at ARA Darling Quarter Theatre, home of the Monkey Baa Theatre Company!

Think you’ve got what it takes?

How it works:

Heats start with a 2 hour workshop/rehearsal with a professional
comedian to help polish entrants acts from 4–6 pm.

At 7 pm, the show kicks off with our comedian as MC.

The best comedians on the night, as selected by guest judges,
will go on to compete in the NSW State Finals.

State Final winners will compete in the National Grand Final
in Melbourne during the high-profile hijinks that is the
Comedy Festival 2020 – for a chance to win a cash prize and a workshop
package for their school.

You can register your stand-up, sketch, physical or musical act and take part in the free workshop prior to the show. Register by yourself, in a duo or a group of three … whatever configuration your comedy act takes!
