    NAIDOC Week: Heal Country!

We’re marking NAIDOC Week with the opportunity to get your hands on a limited-edition print and digital background. We have commissioned Indigenous artist Jenny Moylan-Coombs to create a bespoke piece of artwork to reflect this year’s NAIDOC theme, Heal Country.

The Heal Country theme encompasses the protection of Indigenous land, language and culture. Jenny’s artwork celebrates language through the use of symbols. While there are hundreds of Indigenous languages and dialects in Australia, symbols share a universal meaning between Aboriginal people.

The artwork and symbols depict the 3 Indigenous Worlds: the Sacred World, the Human World and the Physical World. The symbols represent lessons on how we can find balance and live sustainably on Country. Jenny has created a document explaining the importance and meaning of each symbol, which will be included with all purchases.

The artwork will be available in two formats. You can order a digital PNG file for $20, or an A3 print for $60. The digital file can be used as a Microsoft Teams or Zoom background, while the print will be mailed to your home. To purchase, head to our donation page and enter a donation of $20 or $60, using your full name as a reference. Our team will then be in touch to send your artwork to you.
